This comprehensive 5-day training course is designed to equip professionals with the foundational and advanced statistical knowledge necessary to make data-driven decisions. The curriculum focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights through rigorous statistical methods. Participants will gain proficiency in estimation, which involves using sample data to infer population parameters, and the structured, scientific process of hypothesis testing, enabling them to evaluate claims and validate assumptions across various business and research domains.
The training provides a brief overview of fundamental statistical concepts, moving quickly into the core areas of probability distributions, confidence interval construction, and the formal procedures of hypothesis testing. It covers a wide range of parametric tests, including z-tests, t-tests, and ANOVA, and introduces essential non-parametric alternatives and methods for analyzing categorical data ( tests). The final modules explore foundational regression analysis, providing participants with the tools to model relationships between variables and select the most appropriate statistical technique for complex analytical challenges.
