Postgraduate Proposal and Thesis Development Mentorship Training Course

Postgraduate Proposal and Thesis Development Mentorship Training Course

This intensive 5-day mentorship training course is designed to guide postgraduate students (Master's and Ph.D. level) through the entire journey of developing a high-quality, institutionally approved research proposal and successfully completing their final thesis or dissertation. The course provides structured, step-by-step guidance, blending theoretical understanding with essential practical skills to demystify the academic research process. By focusing on critical thinking, rigorous methodology, and effective academic writing, participants will gain the confidence and competence required to manage their research project from initial concept to final defense, maximizing the likelihood of timely and successful graduation.

The curriculum is structured sequentially, starting with fundamental skills like identifying a research gap, conducting a systematic literature review, and formulating clear objectives. It progresses through detailed modules on research design, sampling, instrument development, and navigating ethical clearance protocols. The latter modules concentrate on the practical mechanics of thesis writing, data analysis planning, adherence to academic integrity rules (citation/plagiarism), and essential preparation for the final thesis defense and submission process.
