Hydrogeological Survey Techniques Training Course

Hydrogeological Survey Techniques Training Course

This 10-day professional training is designed to build technical capacity in conducting hydrogeological surveys for groundwater exploration, development, and management. Participants will gain a deep understanding of subsurface water systems, aquifer characterization, and the use of geophysical tools to inform sustainable water resource planning.

The course covers a wide range of topics including groundwater occurrence, survey planning, geophysical methods, data interpretation, GIS integration, and reporting. Each module blends theoretical instruction with practical fieldwork to ensure participants acquire hands-on experience in hydrogeological investigations.

Trainer Experience

The course is facilitated by expert hydrogeologists and water resource professionals with over 15 years of field experience across East Africa. Trainers have led national groundwater mapping projects, published peer-reviewed research, and trained hundreds of professionals in survey techniques and aquifer management.
