This comprehensive five-day training course is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in the principles and processes of research design and methodology. Participants will learn how to formulate research questions, select appropriate research designs, understand different data collection and analysis techniques, address ethical considerations, and effectively communicate research findings, equipping them with the essential skills to conduct rigorous and impactful research across various disciplines.
The course will cover a range of critical topics, including the nature of research and the research process, formulating research questions and hypotheses, quantitative research designs (experimental, quasi-experimental, survey), qualitative research designs (case study, ethnography, grounded theory), mixed methods research, sampling techniques, data collection methods (questionnaires, interviews, observations), data analysis basics (quantitative and qualitative), research ethics, and writing research proposals and reports. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants will develop the ability to design and execute sound research projects.
