Module 3: Advanced Form Logic and Validation (XPath Functions)

• Implementing simple and complex skip logic (relevance rules)
• Using constraint expressions to prevent invalid data entry (input validation)
• Applying constraint messages and hints to guide enumerators
• Introduction to common XPath functions (e.g., selected(), if(), decimal-date-time()) for advanced calculations

• Analyzing detailed audit trails to measure interview length and enumerator diligence
• Using background audio recordings for supervisory quality assurance
• Practical session: Setting up a Case Management list and using it to track follow-up visits for a simulated patient cohort

Module 10: Data Security, Privacy, and Best Practices

• Best practices for anonymizing data and handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
• Implementing end-to-end data encryption for sensitive data
• Reviewing ethical considerations and informed consent within digital surveys
• Strategies for backup and disaster recovery of the SurveyCTO data
• Practical session: Reviewing a form and ensuring all sensitive variables are properly encrypted and consent is fully documented

Cancellation Policy

1. Payment for all courses includes a registration fee, which is non-refundable, and equals 15% of the total sum of the course fee.

2. Participants may cancel attendance 14 days or more prior to the training commencement date.

3. No refunds will be made 14 days or less before the training commencement date. However, participants who are unable to attend may opt to attend a similar training course at a later date or send a substitute participant provided the participation criteria have been met.
